HOW DO I REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT?

To register for a WalterHammond.com account, click the "Login" button located in the upper right corner of the header. Then on the “New Customer” side of the page, click the “Create an Account” button and complete the form. Once the form is submitted, you will receive an email with instructions about how to proceed.

HOW DO I ORDER ITEMS ON THE WEBSITE?

Search for the item(s) you want to buy and add them to the shopping cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" button. You can also remove an item by clicking on the garbage bin icon located to the right of the item. Once you’ve filled your cart with everything you need, click the "Proceed to Checkout" button to begin processing the order. If you are a current Hammond customer, you may place the order and be billed for the items once you’ve logged in to your account. Once logged in, enter your billing, payment and shipping information to process your order. A confirmation email should be sent upon order completion. If you are not a current Hammond customer or simply want to pay with a credit card, that option is available as well.

HOW DO I REMOVE ITEMS FROM THE SHOPPING CART?

To remove an item from the shopping cart, simply click on the garbage bin icon located to the right of the item. If you want to remove all items on the cart, click on the "Empty Cart" link below the items.

HOW CAN I ADD ITEMS TO MY SHOPPING CART QUICKLY?

If you know the item number(s) for your item(s) and the quantity you want to buy, click on the "Quick Order" button located on the navigation bar. Then, enter the item number(s) and the quantity and click “Add to Cart”. Adding your item(s) this way will take you to checkout.

HOW DO I CREATE A SHOPPING LIST?

There are two ways to create shopping lists, but you must first be a registered Walter Hammond user. Once you log in to your dashboard, click the “Shopping Lists” button on the left side and then the “Create New List” button. You will be asked to name the list by entering something in the “Add New Folder” field. At this point you will have the ability to add any item(s) you search for to your shopping list(s) by simply clicking the "Add to Shopping List" button. You can also upload a large number of items by clicking the “Import CSV” button. Make sure your CSV file has two column: one for the item number and one for the quantity.

CAN I PURCHASE ITEMS AS A GUEST?

Yes, visitors can order as guests with a credit card, but you will have more website features available to you as a registered WalterHammond.com user.

CAN I RETURN ITEMS THROUGH THE WEBSITE?

Not immediately; a product return has to be approved and a returned goods authorization (RGA) number issued before you can make a return. You may call us at (612) 781-7441, 1-800-842-2679 or email us at sales@walterhammond.com to request an RGA. Some items are not returnable, but we will make every effort to honor your request.

WHAT CAN I ACCESS IN MY HAMMOND ACCOUNT?

Registered WalterHammond.com users can access and modify their account information, view order history and reports, and create shopping lists.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR A JOB AT WALTER HAMMOND?

The employment section can be found under the “About Us” tab located on the navigation bar. There, you can check for any current job openings and print a job application. You may either email your resume and completed application form to hr@marssupply.com or fax both items to (218) 628-1329.

HOW CAN I GET A QUOTE?

To get a quote, simply click on the "Quote" button on the navigation bar. Then enter the item number and quantity of the item(s) you are interested in and the click “Submit Quote”. Our customer service group will reply promptly with prices.
